Carbs and Fats are not your enemy.
Our survival in this world is basically dependent on our health. Building our immune system is our primary need in this pandemic time. We must focus more on improving our mental health and physical fitness. How to lose weight at home? How to improve our Body Transformation? To achieve fitness it’s essential to include all nutrients in our diet. Carbs and fats are as important as other nutrients in our diet. We must not consider them as unessential or bad for our health.
Carbs or carbohydrates are essential for our body’s development and growth. They are the source of energy for our bodies. Carbohydrates can be divided into two simple carbs and complex carbs. Simple carbs or Sugar are easy and quick to digest which provide short-lasting energy, whereas Complex carbs provide our body more lasting energy because they take longer to digest. In our diet carbs are in three categories Sugar,starch, and fibers. Carbs are converted into glucose and used as energy or can be converted as the stored energy called fats, for later use.
Fibers are a vital form of carbs, our body can not digest it but by combining them with the bacteria in the digestive system it can be healthy and essential for fitness and maintaining good health . We must use better or healthy sources of carbs.
Both carbs and fats play an important role in body functioning. One must consume the right amount and good quality of Fats and Carbs which are helpful in maintaining fitness, regulating body transformation, and maintaining body weight, if essential helpful in weight loss. For good health, unsaturated fats and refined carbs must be removed or replaced with whole carbs and monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. So even if the goal is weight loss, to stay healthy the body needs both carbs and fats, skipping them from your diet can reduce muscle mass, and bone density and cause fatigue. To remain active the body needs carbs and Fats. Fats and fatty acids are also essential for absorbing vitamins a,d,e and k for the benefit of the body which our body cannot produce.
Inshort when fats act as a reserved source of energy and protect organs, Carbs act as quick fuel. When we include wholegrains, avocados, olive oil, nuts, seeds, quinoa, banana, oats, beetroot,etc in our diet we add more qualitative nutritional value in our diet. Both fats and carbs are helpful in maintaining our body weight and regulating our body transformation, if we consume nutrients according to the body’s requirements and follow the healthy way of living by eating a balanced diet and exercising regularly. We must consider the body’s type and requirements before planning our meals. Physical fitness and mental health is dependent on our diet. Each and every nutrient is essential.
A balanced diet consists of the correct quantities and proportions of the required nutrients for good health. A healthy person must add adequate amounts in proper proportions of minerals, vitamins, protein, water, carbohydrates and fats to maintain good health.
